“Cancer Survivor”: An ode to God’s strength within us.

So do not fear, for I am with you; 

do not be dismayed, for I am your God. 

I will strengthen you and help you; 

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

From Rafael Santi to Miguel Angel Buonarotti, all kinds of artists have honored the breast cancer fight in different ways. We certainly know that in old times this disease wasn’t in medicine advanced searches yet. The contribution of these creative artists encourages us to reflect on how breast Cancer has existed along with history. 

Ivan Guaderrama joins this action with the art piece called ” Cancer Survivor. “, which reminds us of the faith in the Lord, for we are not alone in our fights and never will be if we believe in his strength within us.  

The art piece shows us an Angel with pink and yellow tones and the iconic pink ribbon. Being an interactive piece, it tries to tell us the story of the women that have been in this fight and encourage them to have faith in God’s strength.
